Prof. Avv. Gherardo Carullo
Gherardo is Professor of Administrative law at the University of Milan and he is a member of the Steering Committee of the Interdisciplinary Research Center on Administrative Law (CERIDAP), aimed at creating a more efficient and impartial administrative action (www.ceridap.eu).
As a lawyer he has worked in international and national law firms in Milan, he is registered since 2012 at the Bar association of Bologna, since 2019 as University Professor. He graduated in law cum laude at the University of Bologna, has achieved his PhD at the University of Milan and his LLM at the King’s College of London.
He is author of two books and over 60 national and international publications, well received in the literature, the case-law and Italian legislation. He has been invited as a speaker to multiple national and international conferences.
He teaches courses on the regulatory aspects of the digital transformation of public administrations and on topics of sustainable development and public law at the University of Milan. He has been invited as a lecturer on topics related to personal data protection, public procurement, access to documents and environmental protection in Italian and foreign Universities.
Finally, he has extensive skills in computer programming, is fluent in several programming languages and he has collaborated in several open source projects.
